Email service.

Each domestic service is provided with subdomain mailbox service with 40Mb storage space. This may be configured with multiple mailboxes and with a catch-all mailbox for mail addressed to anyname@username.postbag.org The mail service includes POP3, IMAP and webmail access, with spam filtering, "Out of Office" replies and a control panel providing mailbox management.

Uncapped services are the traditional ADSL, use as much as you like (but see "How Contention Works" above. These services are suitable for use with Voice over IP.

Services with capped traffic allowance.

Capped services are limited in the amount of data that can be uploaded and downloaded in any one month. Once you have reached your limit the service will continue to operate but on a much reduced speed (similar speed to a dial-up connection). If you have used all your traffic allocation for the month then you can purchase additional traffic. New services will be provisioned at the maximum download speed supported by the telephone line (up to 8Mbps). Existing services can be migrated to a capped service, however a small charge of £11.00 (£12.93 inc VAT)  will be payable if the service requires a speed upgrade.

Entry level Capped services are not suitable for use with P2P.

Designed for the normal home user, with service offerings suitable for most domestic requirements from casual surfing and email through to all but the heaviest Internet gamer. Alhough usage is capped, you always have the opportunity to purchase additional traffic to see you through periods of exceptional use.

Entry level capping (i.e. Domestic Lite and Domestic 5g) both have a Rollover feature, this enables the user to store unused gigabytes up to the maximum of 1 month. For example Customer A has a Domestic 5G service and uses only 2 Gig in january, that customer would then have 8 Gig available for Feburary. If said customer then only uses 3 Gig in Febuary then 10 Gig would be avilable to them in March.

With all our capped services you can purchase additional traffic. If you find you have used all your allocation, just log on to your account page and purchase additional Gb of traffic.

ADSL Line Upgrade, Migration and speed upgrade

All new ADSL services are subject to a £50.00 (£57.50 inc VAT) line upgrade charge levied by BT. This charge is passed on to the customer at cost. There is a £11 (£12.93 inc VAT) charge levied by BT on services migrated from other service providers.
