Domain registration and DNS services
Registration
In registering Internet Domains, Interdart are acting as the customer's agent. The customer must agree to the terms and conditions of the appropriate registrar and is also subject to Interdart's terms and conditions of business. Domain names are leased from the registrar on an annual (or in some cases for multiple years). If renewal fees are not received before the renewal date then the lease will lapse, and the domain name will no longer be available for the customer's use. Interdart charges an annual fee which covers the registrars fee and the provision of Domain Name Services (DNS).
Domain Name Services are the "telephone directory" of the Internet. DNS provides the conversion of a name such as www.your.domain into an IP address (Internet number). This conversion is required to allow Internet software to establish communication between a PC and an Internet server.

All domain names managed by Interdart are subject to the domain registrar's Terms and Conditions. Interdart act as the registrant's agent and by agreeing to Interdart providing the domain service you are also agreeing to the registrar's terms and conditions.
Please note: Payment for domain registration must be received by Interdart a full working day prior to the renewal date. If you do not pay on time then the registrar may suspend the domain name and it will cease working. Also note that the registrar may charge a reinstatement fee for domains which have expired. The customer will be responsible for the renewal fee together with any reinstatement fee charged by the registrar.
