Transferring your Domain to Interdart

UK Domains - co.uk, org.uk, me.uk
Please send a fax, email or letter to Interdart with the following content
"Please arrange DNS services and transfer of our domain <your domain name here> from our current service providers <service provider>. Our company details for registration purposes are:
Company name
Company address
Contact name
Contact phone number
Contact Fax Number"
You must then make contact with the ISP who is currently holding the domain. They will usually require a letter from you on your company letterhead. The letter should include the following:

"Please transfer our domain <your domain name here> to IPSTAG INTERDART. Please do not alter the nameservers prior to the transfer being complete. Please also notify hostmaster@interdart.co.uk once the transfer request has been sent to Nominet."

Please also refer to Continuity of Service below.

If for any reason your current ISP cannot be contacted, you can arrange to have your domain transferred by Nominet, the Registrar for .uk domains. Details may be found on the Nominet web site.
"

Other Domains - .com, .org, .net etc.

Firstly contact your current service provider and advise them you are transferring the name and request they allow a transfer to admin email address hostmaster@interdart.co.uk. Please send a copy of relevant correspondence to hostmaster@interdart.co.uk.
In most cases you will need to verify that the "admin contact" email address for the domain is current and working, and that the recipient is prepared to give a positive acknowledgement to the domain transfer request. Please be sure to check the rules and procedures published by the current service provider.

Once the current service provider is ready to acknowledge the transfer, please send a fax, email or letter to Interdart with the following content:
"Please arrange DNS services and transfer of our domain <your domain name here> from our current service providers <service provider>. Our company details for registration purposes are:
Company name
Company address
Contact name
Contact phone number
Contact Fax Number"
Please also refer to Continuity of Service below.

Interdart will then make arrangements to have the domain transferred. In most cases we will request the domain be transferred to the registrar OpenSRS.
Once we initiate the transfer process, an email will be sent to the current admin contact for the domain. The admin contact must respond to this email within 3 days in order for the domain transfer to complete.

Continuity of service

If you currently have email or a web site on your domain, and the service is not being transferred to Interdart along with the domain, you must provide details of the services.
"
Please add the following text into your letter:
