Managed and Co-Located Servers
Interdart offer a broad range of options for managed and co-located servers. Prices vary according to the services provided, space and Internet bandwidth required.
Internet access is offered on either a Traffic or a Bandwidth basis. Traffic is best suited to applications requiring very low aggregate bandwidth but potentially carries excess traffic charges. Bandwidth provides your server with a fixed data transfer rate. You can transfer all the data you wish, however capacity is automatically limited on the Interdart firewall.
The following table provides an outline of the available services.

Includes all cables, switches, power supply, air conditioning and basic monitoring service.
Charged per 1 U height of 19" rack. |
| Bandwidth |
Fixed bandwidth allocated to your server (or cluster) in units of 256Kbps. |
| Traffic |
Amount of Internet traffic prepaid for your server. Additional traffic over and above this is charged at the Excess Traffic rate. |
| Excess Traffic |
Any traffic over and above the agreed Traffic is charged monthly in arrears per 1 Gbyte. (Not applicable to the Bandwidth option) |
| Burst Rate |
The maximum bandwidth at which the server will be allowed to send or receive data. |
Administration
and Maintenance |
We will take responsiblity for performing all day to day administration and maintenance tasks on your server. This includes installing maintenance and secuity fixes to the operating system, and performing system administration tasks. |
24/7 Advanced
monitoring |
Interdart will monitor the services on your server and where possible, take appropriate action to reinstate failed services. The Client will be automatically notified of any service failures. |
| On-Line Backup |
Automatic daily backup of critical data from your server to one of our on-line storage servers. This service is charged per Gb of storage space. |
| Anti-Virus |
Install and maintain anti-virus software on your server, and take appropriate action to remove detected viruses. |
| Dedicated Firewall |
A managed firewall dedicated to your servers. Includes managment of firewall rules. |
